About Us

SupplyGov.ie (formerly LAQuotes.ie) is a procurement system which facilitates Local Authorities and other state agencies in procuring goods and services from Suppliers and Contractors. The website has been developed by the Local Government Operational Procurement Centre (LGOPC) to streamline the procurement process of contracting authorities in respect of the operation of local authority led Category Councils for Plant Hire and Minor Building & Civil Works.

The LGOPC is responsible for the sectorial categories of spend through the development, implementation and management of all elements of the Category Councils of Plant Hire and Minor Building & Civil Works as established by the Office of Government Procurement.

The LGOPC has a dedicated Customer Services Helpdesk Team which offers support via telephone and email to all users of the SupplyGov.ie platform including Buyers, Suppliers, Contractors and SMEs. The team can be contacted by telephone Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00 (excluding Bank Holidays) or via email at eproc@kerrycoco.ie or by using the details available on the Contact Us page.

Over the last number of years, the SupplyGov.ie system has been continuously enhanced to accommodate all Local Authorities as well as the state agencies such as the Office of Public Works, Irish Water and the Health Service Executive. SupplyGov.ie operates two modules of procuring goods and services through Requests for Tenders (RFTs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs). Requests for Tenders are mini competitions run under current Frameworks.

Streamlining the procurement process online has increased efficiency, transparency and accessibility of public sector procurement in the two Category Councils. In August 2015 LAQuotes.ie was rebranded as SupplyGov.ie. The change in name reflects the move of the procurement system from being a Local Authority platform only to one which encompasses other state agencies.
